Equipping churches to reflect God’s glory, participate in God’s mission, and partake in the reproduction of God’s people

The Healthy Churches Team is one of three teams at the BRN available to assist you. We are committed to partnering with BRN churches to help you become healthy representations of God’s grace.

We recognize that healthy churches need healthy leadership, so we are committed to strengthening the leaders of our churches by partnering in their personal discipleship and growth. For example, we provide an online learning community called E-Quip.net.

We believe that God has a plan for each person He has graciously saved and properly stewarding His people–both individually and corporately–means positioning them for His glory; therefore, the Healthy Churches Team is committed to helping churches discover their gifts, passions and personal profiles. Where a church is located is indispensable to how they do ministry and what ministries they engage in. We want to help churches exegete their communities so that they can develop and deploy the body to provide holistic ministries in their immediate contexts.

Partnership starts with communication. Therefore, we actively use our Web site, blog, email blasts, personal interactions, BRN-sponsored events and other avenues to foster greater communication with our churches.

Partnership is also about relationship. The Healthy Churches Team is committed to being a bridge to connect pastors in peer-to-peer learning communities designed to combat the isolation of the pastoral position by building relationships with like-minded co-laborers who have been called to similar contexts.

Partnership means coming alongside others to accomplish the work of ministry. We work with the Missional Living and Multiplying Churches Teams to help BRN churches understand the times and commit to reaching this ever-changing world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Healthy Churches Team is committed to having believers live missionally and churches recognize their calling and responsibility to reproduce themselves.
