Image-51CHERRY HILL, NJ – Bellmawr NJ Outreach is a ministry to the South Asians who reside in six building apartments. We were blessed with the visits of a mission team from Minnesota during the week of June 20 to 23 which Pastor Hal Hopkins helped arrange.

Image-81The team helped out in teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) for adults and organized a soccer training for younger boys and girls. The week’s event was culminated by gathering everyone, both adults and children in the soccer field and enjoying meals together. After the fellowship, the two missionary students from the team shared their personal testimony. Brother Dave, a youth leader from the mission team, gave an invitation and lead the group in the sinner’s prayer.

Image-91The Church of the Good Shepherd Cherry Hill is now again challenged to follow up this ministry by being intentional in the community not only thru the weekly ESL, but also by bringing families over to the VBS scheduled on July 11-15. Additionally, a movie night will be held directly in the parking space of the apartment complex before the summer ends.

Please join us in praying that the Spirit of the Lord will continue to convict and convert these people into becoming His disciples, and to plant a new church in Bellmawr.

We are grateful to the BRN and our other partners in ministry.
