HARRISBURG – The Grace House is an outreach ministry that has been operating on the north side of Hall Manor in Harrisburg since 1996. It was started by Bob and Cheryl Clarkson soon after Bob’s release from SCI Graterford. Bob had become a devoted disciple of Jesus Christ while incarcerated and desired to serve the Lord through ministering to people in need.

Bob died from the ravages of aids in 2004, a disease he contracted from a dirty needle in his former manner of life. Since that time the ministries of the Grace House have been operated by a number of dedicated individuals and board members. These leaders are aging and feeling the effects of the aging process. We are now looking for a Christian individual or ministry that would be willing to surround themselves with dedicated volunteers and take over the leadership of the ministry at this strategic location.

The house consists of a well-stocked food pantry and clothing room, and in years past has had a vital children’s outreach in the summer months.
