LANCASTER – On March 20th Pastors and Pastor’s wives from all over the Northeast gathered at the Doubletree Hotel for 2 days of spiritual renewal, refreshing and revival at the ReFresh Northeast Conference hosted by the Sherwood Baptist Church. In the opening address, Michael Catt challenged the attendees by stating “Revival starts with us and that is why we are here.” He went on to say “We will either have revival or we will die having lived irrelevant and meaningless lives with the Gospel.” The yearning for revival was in the air and Michael’s riveting sermon invited all attendees to pursue it.

The conference was action packed from powerful praise and worship with songs that ranged from hymns like “Crown Him Lord of All” and “The Blood Will Never Lose it’s Power” to more Contemporary songs of worship such as “Lay It All Down”. From vertical worship to the incredible preaching and the hospitality and rich fellowship, the ReFresh Conference did not disappoint! Pastor Kim Grueser said “ The speakers were genuine, practical and Jesus centered.” After the conference, Pastor Robert Hylton stated “I have 28 pages of “good stuff” notes that will feed my devotion journal for many days or weeks.” Not only were attendees moved by the worship and powerful sermons but also by the fellowship. “The Spirit of fellowship…….being part of worship with the bigger part of the “church”. Most of us ever only experience the same with a much smaller part of the body.” – Pastor Roger Roadman.  ReFresh Northeast proved to be a successful event that enriched, encouraged and inspired all in attendance. The conference lived up to its name leaving Pastors feeling Refreshed and already anticipating next year’s Conference.
