Missionary Highlight – May 7, 2017 – Brad Horne

One of our missionaries in Russia we’ll call Brad Horne. He teaches English as a way to meet people and share the gospel. One week he asked a student named Anton if the young man knew his purpose in life. Anton said no.  When Brad offered to teach him the Bible, Anton agreed. The first meeting was five hours long as they studied what the Bible says about the purpose of life. Missionary Highlight – April 16, 2017 – Quinn McClintock

As we come to our missionary prayer time today, I want to point out that when we come together for worship, we have hundreds of hymns and songs that we can sing. But in some places where the gospel is just being shared, there are no songs to sing because they have not been written yet. That is exactly the ministry of our missionary, Quinn McClintock, who serves in West Africa. He works with new believers and teaches them how to write worship songs in their own language. A Report From the ReFresh Northeast Conference

LANCASTER – On March 20th Pastors and Pastor’s wives from all over the Northeast gathered at the Doubletree Hotel for 2 days of spiritual renewal, refreshing and revival at the ReFresh Northeast Conference hosted by the Sherwood Baptist Church. In the opening address, Michael Catt challenged the attendees by stating “Revival starts with us and that is why we are here.” He went on to say “We will either have revival or we will die having lived irrelevant and meaningless lives with the Gospel.” The yearning for revival was in the air and Michael’s riveting sermon invited all attendees...

A Report from the BRN Advantage

PHILADELPHIA – On Saturday, March 4th over 300 people gathered at Calvary Christian Church in Northeast Philadelphia for a time of rich fellowship, learning, spiritual enrichment and development at the BRN Advantage Leadership Development Event.
