Are you wondering about BRN–who we are and what we’re all about?

The Baptist Resource Network (BRN) of Pennsylvania/South Jersey is one of 42 state conventions related to the Southern Baptist Convention. Our home office is in Harrisburg, PA and we are comprised of around 325 churches situated across four regions: BRN West, BRN Central, BRN Philadelphia and BRN South Jersey. Each local church is autonomous and participates in BRN voluntarily, for the purpose of working together to reach the world for Christ.

Jesus commissioned His Church to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). We realize that no one individual or local church can accomplish our mission alone. So, we choose to partner.

The BRN exists to glorify God by fostering spiritual transformation for persons and communities with the Gospel. To accomplish our God-given vision, we are united around one three-fold strategy: discover, develop and deploy. In this way, we serve individuals and churches statewide.

Discover: We journey with you in discovering who you are and where you are, where God is working and how He is leading you to join Him.

Develop: We help you develop relationships and connections, disciples and disciple-makers, church planters, pastors and missionaries.

Deploy: We deploy individuals, families and groups who will incarnate the Gospel message through ministry and witness, as well as partners who will help you be successful in the ministry God has given you.
